Not just that, the Medical students where also there feeling like no one is up to them be it in Academics and what have you. That was how i celebrated the Resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Enjoyment and merriment took over, i enjoyed myself with meatpie,watermelon juice and lastly ice-cream, after which i returned home feeling full like a lion who just finished a whole Zebra. I took myself out of bed and prepared right ahead for the evening feeling with so much enthusiasm.Īlas the long awaited evening arrived and i dashed out heading straight to the eatery where he was already waiting, eagerly i went in having my seat right beside him. During our conversation i was smiling moral to moral, filled with so much happiness cause he was demanding my presence at an eatery later in the evening. I resented picking up the call not till he called the second time which i picked up the phone to receive the call reluctantly cause i hate disturbances while sleeping. A call woke me up from my sleep, and guess what, my bigbro was the one calling. I not been a fan of watching movies went to my bed to catch a nap. Gisting and watching of movies took over which we didn't feel bored of ourselves. I prepared yam portage filled with a lot of vegetables and smoked fish making sure one eats not only carbohydrates, to help quench the hunger in my stomach, which i and my friends feasted on like hungry Hyenas. On reaching home,i received a lot of Easter wishes from my friends,neighbours and those passing by. After the so much jubilation in the church i retired home after the service with so much joy and happiness in my heart. Easter been on sunday,i went to church to join my brothers and sisters in the Lord in the continuation of worshipping and praising His name,praises and worship were done which the sermon was preached giving us Hope that Christ has deafeated death and there is life after death. It is the day which our Lord,Jesus Christ rose from the dead which gives us christians hope that there is life after death. Being a christian,Easter is one of the most celebrated day in our lifes.
